How Elevation Capital describe themselves:
We are an asset management company and “special situation” investor.
We are a registered financial service provider in New Zealand under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Disputes Resolution) Act 2008 (FSP# 9601) and are licensed under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 as a manager of registered schemes.
Elevation Capital as an investor is unconstrained by geography, industry, market capitalisation or whether a company is listed or unlisted, allowing us to focus on long-term returns.
We believe by maintaining a global focus there is a greater opportunity set to invest in truly world-class companies with attractive long-term fundamentals while at the same time (in our opinion) reducing investment risk for our investors. We believe that when you are several thousand miles away from Wall Street in a different nation, it’s easier to be independent and buy the things other people are selling, and sell the things that other people are buying.
We are also what is best described as “special situation” investors which can involve both listed and unlisted companies whereby we also provide both advice and investment capital.
Most importantly, we understand our role as fiduciaries and have made our remuneration as investment managers transparent for all investors. All Directors are investors in the Elevation Capital Global Shares Fund on the same terms as all other investors.
We trust our website/s provide you with a useful insight into Elevation Capital and the Elevation Capital Global Shares Fund.
Additionally, our fund documents and research all provide a transparent view of the firm’s philosophies, people, investments/portfolios and communications.
