Fund Removal – Mercer Income Generator Fund

We have been informed by Mercer (N.Z.) Limited that they have decided to close the Mercer Income Generator Fund (the Fund), which will be removed from the InvestNow Platform, effective from 12^th August 2026.

Mercer advised that the decision to close the Fund was due to fixed costs and declining funds under management, which meant it is no longer viable to operate the Fund at a cost-effective level.

Application and redemption requests from InvestNow customers will continue to be processed until the Fund is removed from the InvestNow Platform.

The Fund is still set to pay two more distributions, one on or around 3 July 2026 and another one on or around 5 August 2026, for any InvestNow customers still invested in the Fund on those dates. Distributions will be either reinvested or paid as cash depending on your InvestNow account setting.

There are two important actions that you, as an investor, need to complete:

1. If the Mercer Income Generator Fund is in your Regular Investment Plan, please update your plan as soon as possible by removing the Fund from it (you can reallocate the contribution to other funds you already have in your plan, replace the Fund in your plan with another fund available on InvestNow, or if it is the only fund you have in your plan then simply make the plan inactive). If no changes are made to your plan, we will action this on your behalf on Wednesday 5th August.
2. For all units you hold in the Mercer Income Generator Fund, irrespective of whether you have the Fund in a Regular Investment Plan, it would be prudent to raise a sell order before midday Monday 10th August. If no sell order is raised by this time, we will raise an instruction asking our custodian to liquidate any holdings remaining on Tuesday 11th August, with net proceeds to be transferred to your InvestNow Transaction Account within a week.
