Harbour Navigator 21st June 2019
We are delighted to announce that Hamish Pepper will be joining Harbour Asset Management in mid-July as a Fixed Income Market Strategist.
Hamish joins the Harbour investment team with specific responsibilities for macro-economic research, and fixed interest and currency strategy. He will be working alongside Mark Brown (Head of Fixed Income), George Henderson (Portfolio Manager) and Simon Pannett (Senior Credit Analyst) in managing our fixed income funds.
Hamish brings with him a wealth of experience in economics and market strategy. His considerable analytical skills on central bank policy and economic data will be reflected in investment decisions across all asset classes, in particular fixed income and currency.
Hamish joined Barclays Investment Bank in 2011 and has completed stints in their Singapore and London offices. He was most recently Head of FX & Emerging Markets Macro Strategy Research for Asia, based out of their Singapore office. Hamish was previously a senior analyst in the Financial Markets Research team at the Reserve Bank of NZ, responsible for presenting financial market analysis to RBNZ policymakers. He holds a first class BCA (Hons) in Economics.
We are thrilled to welcome Hamish and his family back home to New Zealand and look forward to introducing him to you over the remainder of 2019.
