Welcome to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Wrap, where our team shares the latest ESG issues and their implications for investors.

Watch our video with Emily Woodland and Karin Halliday as they discuss the impact of ESG globally.

Emily joined AMP Capital in November 2018 and co-leads the team alongside Dr Ian Woods. She is permanently based in Hong Kong but is spending time with the Sydney team to help develop its long term vision and strategy. The team now comprises six people located in Sydney, Hong Kong and London.

Emily joined AMP Capital with an 18-year career history in investment management, spending the first 16 years in various cross-product portfolio management roles at UBS before departing to pursue her passion for sustainable investment. She joined ADM Capital, a Hong Kong-based private credit asset manager, as an investment advisor focusing on impact investment projects in Indonesia.

She has a first-class undergraduate degree in Financial & Business Economics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a masters degree with distinction in Corporate Environmental Governance from the University of Hong Kong, and is a CFA charterholder. Emily wrote her masters thesis on impact investment in Asia and the associated opportunities and barriers, and is looking forward to working closely with the team and our clients to further the global sustainable investment agenda.
