There was a rebound in growth asset returns during September, with global equities returning more than 18% year-to-date. October is historically a challenging month for equities, but the fourth quarter may deliver further gains. Geopolitical noise continues with the Trump impeachment plan, BREXIT, Hong Kong, and Persian Gulf tensions in the headlines, however fears of imminent recession have receded and Central Banks are keeping the stimulus level very high.
