Innovative NZ-owned online direct-to-consumer funds platform, InvestNow, has signed on another high-profile local manager, bringing further diversity to its rapidly-expanding product range.

Under the just-inked agreement, InvestNow clients will be able to access a suite of five Fisher Funds products, covering a number of different asset classes and risk levels.

Harbour Asset Management has partnered with online investment platform InvestNow to offer all their retail funds to direct investors.

Andrew Bascand, Managing Director at Harbour Asset Management, said InvestNow offered the firm an ideal digital solution for self-directed investors looking to access its funds.

A new clutch of managers has signed on with online fund platform, InvestNow, with five Fisher Funds products first off the rank.

InvestNow founder, Anthony Edmonds, said as well as Fisher a queue of other well-known NZ managers including Devon, Nikko, Salt and the NZX-owned SmartShares would soon go live on the platform.

Edmonds said the latest batch of managers would complement the foundation roster of products offered by the likes of Vanguard, Russell Investments, Mint, Harbour and AMP Capital.

A new online platform will offer mum and dad investors the chance to access a range of investment funds which normally require hundreds of thousands of dollars as a minimum direct entry.

KiwiSavers wanting to save more than the minimum needed to get their full employer and government contributions are getting a new option that doesn’t involve locking their money away until they retire.

Low-cost, index-tracking fund provider Simplicity will today start taking registrations of interest for its fund range, which will mirror its KiwiSaver scheme, except that money can be withdrawn at any time.

Simplicity’s launch follows that of Invest Now, an online funds supermarket through which people can start saving alongside of their KiwiSaver.

Wellington-headquartered Implemented Investment Solutions (IIS) has launched a new online investment platform aimed at the direct market.
