  • Thursday 28 March: email sent advising the estimated PIE tax liability for all investors owing PIE tax
  • Monday 1 April: last day to request a change in your PIR (Prescribed Investor Rate)
  • Tuesday 9 April: once the last tax files have been received from each fund manager, another email will be sent advising the final PIE tax amount. Deposits

To deposit funds, all you need is to know is the bank account details for our custodian and the unique identifier for your account.  Having logged in, click on Quick Actions and then click Deposit funds.  A pop-up will appear, with the details you need to transfer money from your nominated account.  It’s very important that you include your unique reference in each deposit you make.

Attention Unit Holders of the AMP Cash Advantage Fund

You would have heard from us last week, with regards to Rabobank New Zealand’s decision to close and wind up the Cash Advantage Fund (CAF).

Your options

  1. Option A – instruct us to redeem all your units in the CAF
  2. Option B – instruct us to facilitate a switch to the AMP Capital NZ Cash Fund (NZ Cash Fund)

If you do not select an Option by March 7th, we will redeem all your units and credit the proceeds to your InvestNow Transaction Account.

InvestNow Order Status 101

When you buy or sell managed funds with InvestNow, we will apply a number of statuses, reflecting the most recent action taken for each order:

  • Pending
  • Approval required
  • Processing
  • Completed
  • Cancelled

What do the order statuses mean for my managed funds orders?

Managed funds orders go through a number of steps, with each one having a specific status.

Here is what they are and what they each mean:

Pending – you have placed an order and it is awaiting execution.  Orders are executed Monday to Friday, excluding national public holidays.  Whilst in the Pending status the order can be cancelled.

Approval required – you have placed an order and it requires additional authorisers, as per the preference you set for your account.  The transaction will not be processed until the other authoriser(s) have logged in […]
