There are two ways we can verify your identity.
- You can get either your passport or driver’s licence certified. You can find a list of who can certify the documents here and the certification needs to be within the last 3 months. You will also need to provide Proof of address e.g. utility bill or a bank statement.
- We can send you a link to complete the identity verification electronically. You will need a New Zealand driver’s licence or New Zealand passport to complete this.
The identities of Companies and Trusts require additional documents being supplied to InvestNow:
- Companies
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Trusts
- Trust Deed including any amendments
- Proof of address
- Bank deposit slip or bank statement
- Evidence of the source of wealth for the trust
