How is performance calculated?

InvestNow provides two different ways of viewing portfolio-level performance:

• ‘My Returns’ uses a methodology called Extended Internal Rate of Return (XIRR). This calculation takes into account not only how your investments performed, but also when money was added or withdrawn from your portfolio. As a result, it reflects the actual growth of your money over time and represents your ‘real world’ investment experience

Where can I see the performance of my investments?

You can view the performance of your investments by navigating to the ‘Performance’ tab within your InvestNow account.
By default, the ‘Performance tab’ displays the performance of your selected portfolio over the past 12 months using the ‘My Returns’ or Extended Internal Rate of Return (XIRR) calculation methodology, which reflects your personal or ‘real world’ returns generated from your investments.
