An Investor is the entity (Youth, Individual, Joint, Trust or NZ Company) that has an account with InvestNow – it is the beneficial owner, in whose name that the investments are held.
A Member (also known as a Client) is an individual, or individuals, that have access to the Investor account i.e. they are “linked” to the account. Members can be either authorisers of transactions or simply have view-only permissions.
Deposits
Deposits are processed throughout the working day, and should be in your InvestNow Transaction account within two or three hours, assuming you have used the correct nominated bank account and have included the correct reference. You will receive an email notifying you once the deposit has been processed and your monies are now available to invest.

Where you have selected either the email or SMS (text) passcode option, the codes received will be valid for approximately 15 minutes.
If you have selected to use our preferred method, the authenticator app, the code is generally valid for 30 seconds.
To see which funds pay distributions, and how often (frequency), please visit our Range of Funds page (the “Distribution Frequency” column). You can then read the Product Disclosure Document (PDS) for the fund, which will provide more information about any distribution.

The cut-off time for the receipt of buy or sell orders and cleared funds for all Funds is currently 12pm NZ time (Monday to Friday, excluding national public holidays).
If buy or sell orders are accepted before the cut-off time for a Fund on a valuation day, units will normally be issued or redeemed price determined at the end of that day.
Please note that this does not apply to Russell Investments, Antipodes Partners, Elevation Capital or Pie Funds:
There is no functionality offered on InvestNow to facilitate this. If you want to switch from one fund to another, you have to sell the first one, wait until the sale proceeds are in your Transaction Account and then buy the second fund.
Yes – if you chose a dollar value for the sale, the sale can be no lesser than the indicative unit price for one unit. If you chose to sell a number of units, it has to be for at least one unit in the fund.
The minimum cash withdrawal amount from InvestNow is $1.
Cleared funds are monies in your Transaction Account that are available to be either invested or withdrawn.
